Education & Certifications
– University College Cork (2021-2024) I received a First Class Honours Bachelor of Arts in English.
– University College Cork (2024-2025) I received a First Class Honours Masters Degree in Creative Writing.

Festivals, Internships and Volunteering
During my time at UCC, I additionally was the Accessibility Director of Focal Archive, an online literary archive developed during my Masters to immortalise our cohort’s work. I’m a huge advocate for accessibility, and worked with UCC’s Disability Support Service for three years.

In 2024, I became an intern at the Munster Literature Centre, where I was social media manager. I was responsible for anonymising competition entries, manning email accounts, and growing our interaction with other writers online.
I’ve volunteered at Graffiti Theatre’s “Write Club” for young people aged 13-18 since January 2025. I myself attended Graffiti when I was fifteen as part of the Young Playwright’s Programme, so it’s a full circle moment to be a tutor there!
I am very open to working remotely too, and have experience in doing so at Indie Novella, where I completed a student internship involving publishing, marketing, and communications. I also helped out with organising the Alternative Book Fair 2025.

- Worked the Cork International Poetry Festival 2024 (admin, selling books, managing social media, facilitating featured poets’ workshops, general clean-up, making sure every poet was paid!)
- Worked SoundEye Poetry Festival 2025 (admin, selling books, general clean-up, making sure every poet was paid…though many very graciously donated their earnings to grassroots organisation Gaza go Bragh.)
- Worked Retrospect Festival 2026 (writing poetry in real time based on prompts given to me by the audience on a typewriter!)
Additional Certifications
– Hot Press M.I.X Course & Examination 2025. Over the course of twelve weeks, I attended weekly online lectures hosted by Mark Hogan of Hot Press, with a different guest speaker each week. I learned about the ins and outs of music law, what counts as copyright infringement, how to promote your music and brand, as well as how to put together an EPK to use for marketing purposes.
– UCC EmployAgility Award – Open Pathway 2024. Earned by contributing a minimum of twenty hours of volunteering or unpaid work to the University. My badge was received via the Open Pathway, so I took part in various different activities – writing for Motley, editing, working for the Disability Support Services and Access Support Services. I then wrote a Reflective Report which analysed the skills I had learned over the eight month period.
– Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland’s Safe to Create Courses 2025. I completed three online courses – Addressing Unconscious Bias Basic Awareness in the Workplace, Tackling Bullying and Harassment at Work, Being an Active Bystander.
– Educators and Youth Workers Supporting LGBTQ+ Young People 2026. I completed my training for BeLong To’s online course informing me as someone who works with young people, how to support those who may be LGBTQ+. I learned key terminology, about unconscious bias, a brief history of LGBTQ+ legislation in Ireland, and how to support LGBTQ+ young people coming out and/or experiencing bullying.
